Join the 2010-2011 Board of Directors for WillowRidge

The WillowRidge Board of
Directors meetings occur the second Wednesday of the month, from Sept to June, and commences at 7:00 pm for approx 2 hrs.

Any community member may attend these meetings which are usually held upstairs at the WillowRidge Community Centre. Please phone the office at 271-8044 to confirm the location if you wish to attend.
 

Board of Director Position Descriptions

President - Sean Ferguson
The official spokesperson of the Community Association who oversees and coordinates overall activities of various functions.

1st Vice President-  Terry Barnes

2nd Vice President- Vacant

Past President - Roger Crowe

Treasurer - Vacant
Maintains joint custody of the Community Association bank accounts along with the President, Vice President or Secretary. Allocates funds as required.

Secretary - Laurel Barney
Records minutes for all Board and Executive Committee meetings.

Sports Director - Jay Thompson
Custodian for all trophies and coordinates all awards relating to sports activities. Leads team of Assistant Sports Director, Equipment Manager, and Rink Supervisor.

Civic Affairs Director -Greg Humphreys                (civicaffairs@willowridge.ca)
Responsible for all matters relating to the community arising out of Government, civic or political decisions or non-decisions affecting the physical, including aesthetic, well-being of the Community and its citizens..

Casino/Bingo Director - Vacant
Responsible for coordinating all casino operations including licensing, recruiting and supervising volunteers.

Trico Center Director- Jon DeBruyn

Funding Director: Kate Brown

Membership Co-ordinator: Vacant
Recruits and supervises canvassers for the annual Membership Drive.

Program/Social Director - Jason Poole
Initiates and/or coordinates activities for children or adults. Liaison with City of Calgary Parks & Recreation on programs available.

Community Garden Director: Sherri Barnes

Hall Director - Vacant - Call Office
Responsible for the rental of hall space and upgrading facilities as necessary.

Building Director- Vacant

Block Watch Director- Vacant
Liaison with community and police on all safety issues regarding the community.
